New Studio at The Mushroom Works

January 13, 2013

Last week I moved my studio from my home to The Mushroom Works. I’ve been working from home for over twenty years so it’s a big change. But a creative shake up is a good thing now and again. I’m really happy to be part of The Mushroom Works www.mushroomworks.com. I love the view from my window overlooking the Tyne river sliding by. An urban landscape it may be but the sky is always changing colour. The sunset was just glorious.

I walk in to the studio and my route takes me through an industrial landscape that makes me look at my city in a new light.

Happy 2013

Happy New Year from Newcastle upon Tyne!

My studio is moving. All change for the new year and the river Tyne will be the view from my window. More to come.

The latest issue of Selvedge is out. It’s full of colour, ideas and inspiration as always as well as a review by yours truly. I was delighted be asked to review Alaistair Morton and the Edinburgh Weavers. It hasn’t reached the bookshelf yet because I keep returning to look at it.
